The Staggered Spondaic Word (SSW) Test is an important measure of central auditory dysfunction. This diagnostic procedure requires little testing time (about 10 minutes), is broadly applicable to children, adults and hearing impaired and is differentially sensitive to various problems of the auditory system. This test is administered in a standard fashion, scored in accordance with the established procedures, given to individuals who meet the prerequisites and interpreted according to the guidelines provided by the literature. The SSW has been used clinically and in research for over 35 years and is considered the most widely used behavioral test of auditory function in the United States.
Includes CD, Manual (with norms), and 10 Score Forms.
